How do I hide users from appearing in the Windows XP login screen ("Welcome Screen") ?

In the registry, open the key

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList

And add a new REG_DWORD value, with a Name equal to the user's username, and set its Value (the "Data") to 0.
