How can I change Gaim/Pidgin's language and locale?

To enable Hebrew in Gaim, set the environment variable LANGUAGE to be "he"
(In Environment Variables under the Advanced tab in the System Properties dialog.)

For Pidgin, you can set PIDGINLANG instead. (This might only be true on Windows. Only ever tested it on Windows.)
