modprobe still doesn't work, even after being set into /proc/sys/kernel/modprobe!

If despite having /sbin/modprobe configured as the the modprobe /proc/sys/kernel/modprobe/ (by doing echo "/sbin/modprobe" >> /proc/sys/kernel/modprobe), doing modprobe device gives device not found - think about doing depmod to update the module definition info.
