Making RegEdit Run Silent

When merging system registry patches, you're asked to verify the action as a preventative measure. Sometimes, patches have to be applied with every session; you can place a 'REG' file in your StartUp group, but the problem is, you have to click 'Yes' then 'OK' in order to use the patch. However, were you aware of the '/s' switch for REGEDIT? Create a shortcut to a 'REG' file, and on the Target line (before the file location), type: "REGEDIT /S" without the quotes. Now, the process will be completely SILENT. You may also add the '/S' switch to the REG file type 'Merge' action in the Windows Explorer Folder Options dialog.
