Using Script Kiddie Tools for Security

This is a good idea in general, since script kiddies are the equivilent of savages with guns -- they can really mess up your system if they can get in through an open door, but they don't know how to turn the knob of a closed one. All they do is download a set of tools, and spend a few hours scanning for computers that have an exploitable holes in them. The tools they use give them reports, and if the report doesn't include your computer, then you won't be bothered.

A favorite script kiddie tool is nmap, it does host/port scanning, OS identification, and other stuff.
