Sending E-mail from the Linux machine

Problem: every e-mail I send bounces with the message "Uknown Address my_address@fake.domain.org".

You need to make the mailer send e-mails with a read e-mail address. Just open Pine, and configure the sender's e-mail address (yours). That should enable you to send e-mail even through mail, not just Pine.
