mountvol - an excellent tool for listing, adding, and removing mount points for volumes (think: CDROMs, Diskette Drives, partitions, etc.) A useful tool if you wish to create a small rescue partition (with files and tools for recovery) that is hidden from the users until some kind of problem shows up. When an error is detected, you can have the partition re-mount and fix the system. Why hide it? So that the little grubby lusers don't mess it up! So that it's actually there when you need it.
