How can I build a custom bootable WinXP install CD with all the newest updates?

Well, the best guide I found was for creating what the author called a "slipstream CD", where here "slips" the updated bits into the "CD-stream". The instructions can also be used to build a custom Win2000 install CD (with some modifications).

Read the guide from http://www.theeldergeek.com/slipstream_02.htm, or you can find the basic procedure for burning a bootable WinXP (or Win2K) install CD with Nero Burning ROM at http://www.theeldergeek.com/slipstream_nero_procedure.htm
