How can I use CVS from Total Commander?

First option: use TortiseCVS which is a Windows Shell extension.

Alternatly, you can use the CVS plugin for Total Commander. To make the CVS plugin for Total Commander to work, you have to set the following:

CVSROOT=:ext:shalom@cvs.oleh.com:/cvs
CVS_RSH=c:\path\to\plink.exe

[plink is available from putty download page]

And also, open your CVS-repository-host in PuTTY, to accept the "fingerprint". After that, the agent should be able to answer for you :-)
